The Zoning Board of Appeals meets once a month, typically on the 4th Thursday of the month. Petitions for variances, special permits, planned developments, sign permits, etc. are filed in the Town Clerk's Office. Petition applications, the Zoning Bylaw, and other required forms are available during regular office hours or click on the links on the left.

The Building Inspector is the Zoning Enforcement Officer. All Zoning inquiries should first be directed to the Building Inspector, at 508-646-2800 EXT 304. Once a determination is made that Zoning action is required, all necessary forms must be submitted to the Office of the Town Clerk. Zoning meetings generally are held on the 4th Thursday of every month. Petitions must be submitted no later than Noon on the last Thursday of the month to be placed on the agenda for the following month.

Please note: if a business is located at a residential address, you must receive "in-home occupation" approval from the zoning board prior to a business certificate being issued. This includes home office and internet / online-based businesses.
