TIPS FOR PREVENTING FROZEN WATER PIPES AND METERS:

Indoor Tips: Maintain heat at a minimum of 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid drafts where water meter and exposed pipe are located. Insulate pipes that are located in cold and drafty places in the home. 

Outdoor Tips: Disconnect hoses. Shut off faucets from inside basement and drain the faucets. 

IN EXTREME COLD: Open cabinet doors to allow heat to reach pipes.

The meter replacement program is concluding. If you have not had the new standard digital Kamstrup meter installed yet, please call 508-679-2731 to schedule your appointment. A reading fee of $50 is assessed per quarter for non-standard meter customers; and customers with larger non-standard meters are assessed $50 per inch of meter diameter. Non-Standard Meter Read Fees will increase to $200 per quarter effective July 1, 2023; Customers with larger non-standard meters will be assessed $200 per inch of meter diameter per quarter.

Check or money order payments may be placed in the lockbox to the left of our front office doors anytime, or you can visit our office during our business hours, 8 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You can also mail in your payment or submit a payment through your personal online banking establishment. When submitting a payment through your online banking establishment, please be sure to use P.O. Box 844076, Boston, MA 02284-4076 and include your entire 12-digit account number. PLEASE NOTE: If sending a payment through your personal banking establishment (“Online Bill Pay”), your bank will be physically cutting and mailing a check; it is not an EFT. Please leave enough time for this process in order for your payment to arrive by the due date of the bill.

Online and phone payments are available through Invoice Cloud; please visit Invoice Cloud or call 855-985-1096. Fees are 2.99% for credit card payments and $0.50 for ACH payments. Phone payments incur an additional $1.50 convenience fee.
